Boom, Shake, Move: Developing Language with Music

Calling all Rock Stars! Boom, Shake, Move is a workshop created to teach the benefits of integrating music into language development. Parents and caregivers will learn tips and tools for expanding language through songs and sounds that promote growing language skills. Children will love creating their very own musical instrument to add to their next concert!
About the Tools for Tots Series: Join us for family-child workshops to explore and promote healthy development. While caregivers enjoy a brief presentation by a member of Child Inspired’s therapy team and are encouraged to voice concerns or share experiences, children are invited to participate in a hands-on, developmentally-appropriate activity conducted by one of Child Inspired’s child educators. All workshops are FREE, approximately 60 minutes long, outdoors on the Lewes Library fenced patio. Programs will be held indoors in the event of inclement weather. Watch the Library’s Facebook page for an announcement by 9:00am on the day of the program, if weather is questionable.
Family-centered workshops provided by Child Inspired, LLC encourage active participation from both children and families in our community. Child Inspired’s mission is to provide engaging education to families on a variety of developmental and childhood topics, as well as structured, developmentally-appropriate social opportunities for children.
