Speech therapists work in partnership with families, to promote the healthy development of infants and children by supporting skill development in areas such as feeding, play, and communication. Healthy childhood development is dependent upon successful physical and emotional skill development in these areas.
Speech and Language Pathologists work closely with families, and other professionals to address needs related to nutritional intake/feeding, swallowing, language development, speech articulation and cognitive development.
How We Are Currently Providing Services:
At this time, Child Inspired Therapy is In-Network with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Delaware Highmark and Health Options, AmeriHealth Caritas, and Delaware First Health insurance plans. We also offer fee-for-service options. Documentation can be provided to a client (with consent and upon request), to pursue submission of insurance reimbursement from other insurance providers or healthcare flexible spending account (FSA) plans. Please contact the member services department of your insurance provider for information about that process.
Child Inspired's practice framework is based upon a family-centered, pediatric wellness model. Our family-centered, outpatient Occupational and Speech Therapy services are provided via telehealth or in-person services in the comfort of your home or community. Our behavioral health therapies are provided via telehealth or in-person in the comfort of our small clinic setting.
