
Emma Cannon, COTA/L
Emma Cannon is a licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant who recently completed her education at Delaware Technical Community College. She was born and raised in lower Sussex County, enjoying the beach and all the area has to offer. She received her BS in Sport Management from Flagler College, briefly working at North Side Parks and Recreation in Ocean City, Maryland as the Coordinator for summer camps, after school programs and events. She joined Child Inspired’s team in 2021 as a COTA/L, following her pediatric clinical rotation fieldwork. Emma currently provides clinical care and assists in the implementation of therapeutic interventions for Child Inspired Therapy. Emma also enjoys working at a pediatric outpatient rehabilitation center in Kent County where her responsibilities include providing developmental and neurological services to children ranging from ages 5 to 21. Emma is eager to begin her journey in the Occupational Therapy world, understanding that silliness and laughter goes a long way. She is passionate about advocating for those who find it difficult to advocate for themselves and to help educate others about the importance of acceptance and inclusion.
