Jenn is a licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant and joined the Child Inspired team in summer 2022. For the last 5.5 years Jenn could be found at the local community bicycle shop, Lifecycle, in Milford, Delaware. As a Co-Owner of Lifecycle, Jenn developed a benchmark practice in the national cycling and Occupational Therapy fields in applying Occupational Therapy theory within a community framework. Jenn served as a Level 1 Fieldwork Supervisor for Delaware Technical Community College OTA students to demonstrate the application of OT practice directly to a community. She developed community bicycle group rides, adaptive cycling for individuals and families, and community events using Occupational Therapy theories. Jenn worked with special education in the Milford School System to pilot an adaptive cycling program for students. She has consulted with state and municipal leadership in developing transportation infrastructure and trail systems that are inclusive for walkers, bicyclists, and people using adaptive mobility. 

Previous to her work at Lifecycle, Jenn provided sub-acute rehab care at Cadia Renaissance in Millsboro where her skills included development of sensory based treatment plans for people managing neurological dysfunction and Dementia. She is a proud DTCC-Owens Campus 2016 OTA graduate as well as a 2001 Beebe School of Nursing graduate. Having grown up in rural Southern Delaware, she spends as much time outdoors as possible, and maintains practical knowledge of the best outdoor spots for families of all abilities to enjoy nature. Jenn is particularly passionate about using whatever one has on hand, in whatever environment they are in, to create adaptive strategies to achieve their personal goals for health and wellbeing.
