Mandy is a long time friend of Christina Connors and co-owner of Child Inspired. Mandy received her Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1999 and her Master’s degree in Elementary Education from Wilmington University in 2013. She is also a Certified Special Education teacher.  Over the past 12 years, Mandy’s passion for working with children has led her to teaching in a variety of capacities. Her professional career includes teaching at the elementary school level in both regular and special education classrooms for Cape Henlopen School District. In addition, Mandy has worked as an Early Childhood Educator and Family Service Coordinator for Child Development Watch, Delaware’s Early Intervention Program for children 0-3 years old. Mandy’s background in education gives her the tools to provide child- and family-centered education to families and providers seeking opportunities to enrich the family unit. Her role with Child Inspired is developing and implementing educational programs focusing on the needs of children and families. Mandy strongly feels that strengthening the whole family by educating caregivers on how to provide positive, developmentally-appropriate interactions gives children a solid foundation to flourish to their potential. 

Mandy lives in Lewes with her husband Mike, three children (Bryan, Reagan and Will) and three bulldogs (Ruby, Otis and Murphy). She loves living near the beach and enjoys spending time with family and friends in the sand and surf.
