Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Pamela has been a practicing Social Worker for more than 20 years. She received a BA in Psychology from Wesley College in 1999, followed by a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Delaware State University in 2003. She spent 16 years working with children in the foster care system who experienced trauma and disrupted attachment in their early years. Most recently, she has worked as a Child & Family Therapist for the past 10 years, in both Private Practice and through the state of Delaware’s birth to three early intervention program, Child Development Watch. Pam feels that family connections are a core component of working with children, and she has focused much of her work on engaging the family in the therapeutic services she provides.  She is certified in a number of evidence based behavioral therapy models, including PCIT (Parent-Child Interactive Therapy), TheraPlay, and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Pam’s many career experiences have led her to work with a combination of young children, teenagers, and adults of all ages.
