Therapeutic Support Professional

Lisa is a certified Life Coach and specialist in animal-assisted interactions. She is a graduate of James Madison University and has been in private practice for over 18 years providing canine training and behavior interventions. Lisa consulted individuals and families that often came to her in crisis about their family dog. She discovered her talent for connecting with people, and found that “For every dog that needed help, it was the shift in the human being that was the most effective tool.”
Lisa’s professional training includes the Institute of Human-Animal Connection University of Denver – Graduate School of Socialwork, Natural Lifemanship Institute, and Wayfinder Life Coach Training – ICF accredited. She is a member of the Association of Animal-Assisted Intervention Professionals. Lisa is passionate about coaching and involving her therapy dog, Puck, in canine-assisted interactions. She partners with providers to support creative and impactful interventions so that both the client and the dog experience a connection unique to the human-animal bond. Lisa and her family enjoy living in coastal Delaware. She is always up for an adventure and if it includes animals, she’s the first in line.
