Marisa Wengryn, MS CCC-SLP

Speech and Language Pathologist

Marisa Wengryn is a Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist who believes that everyone deserves a voice.  She promotes language, articulation, and pragmatic skills through engaging activities and loves to educate families to embed strategies throughout their child’s day.

Marisa received an undergraduate degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and then continued on to Towson University for her Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology in 2007.  She then moved to Delaware with her husband and has resided here for the past 15 years.

She began her Speech and Language career at the Sussex Consortium working with a variety of students with special needs.  After 10 years, she transitioned to the Cape Henlopen School District and has worked within a variety of different buildings.  She has experience with a variety of language, fluency, and articulation disorders across the span of school age-children.  She also has extensive background in Autism with training in Pyramid Approach to Education and Picture Exchange Communication System.

Marisa enjoys spending time with her family.  She is often found on a sports field cheering on her children, reading books, or spending time at the beach.
