Picky Eaters: Encouraging Fun Exploration of Seasonal Foods

After a long cold Winter, Spring gives us a warm welcome to many things such as longer days, warmer weather, and delicious seasonal foods. Many people enjoy the variety of fresh fruits and veggies that become available during this time of year. However, picky eaters often miss out on enjoying these fresh flavors. Our Picky Eaters workshop will offer parents and caregivers creative ideas for introducing some Springtime favorites to finicky eaters. Children will enjoy exploring new foods through creative play!

About the Tools for Tots Series: Join us for family-child workshops to explore and promote healthy development. While caregivers enjoy a brief presentation by a member of Child Inspired’s therapy team and are encouraged to voice concerns or share experiences, children are invited to participate in a hands-on, developmentally-appropriate activity conducted by one of Child Inspired’s child educators. All workshops are FREE, approximately 60 minutes long, outdoors on the Lewes Library fenced patio. Programs will be held indoors in the event of inclement weather. Watch the Library’s Facebook page for an announcement by 9:00am on the day of the program, if weather is questionable.

Family-centered workshops provided by Child Inspired, LLC encourage active participation from both children and families in our community.
